For the thirtieth anniversary of Charlotte's first peal, rung on 14th April 1984 on the same bell and to the same composition.

This was followed by 5 minutes of reverse rounds and five minutes of tolling on the tenor. Rung half muffled prior to the Vigil in commemoration of the centenary of the declaration of war on 4 August 1914, and remembering particularly those members of The House who gave their lives. At the conclusion of the service, Great Tom was struck 100 times.

In celebration of the life of Stephen Cameron, tower captain of Charlton on Otmoor, Fellow of Keble College, Oxford since 1986, Senior Member of the Oxford University Society 2006-19, whose funeral took place here yesterday.
